Answer» No tooth has the ph 5.5 only because of the presence of salivary amylase and lysosome.It doesnt cause dental plaque. 5.5 The ph scale goes from 1 to 14 ,with a ph of 1 , being the most acidic and 14 being the most alkaline A Ph of 7 is neutral the ph of pure water is very close to 7 at a ph of 5.5 the teet being to demineralize putting them at risk for cavities,A Healthy mouth in a neutral ph range .. It has a ph of near 7.5,..... becoz at a ph of 5.5 a i.e, in acidic medium it can cause the pH in the dental plaque to fall rapidly below....... |
