The method of preparing foam-gypsum mixture for making construction articles involves mixing hemihydrate gypsum, an additive and aqueous solution of foaming agent. Mixture of said component which are heated to 30-40°C is carried out in a continuously running cavitational activator-disintegrator without forced air supply with ROTOR SPEED of not LESS than 3000 min-1 for 1-1.5 min. The additive used is calcium sulphate dihydrate which is crushed to particle size 1-1.5 cm.
