Answer» Trees, plants and grass constitute vegetation. Vegetation contribute to the weathering of rocks by driving roots into fine cracks or holes in the rocks. They also enable water and moisture to enter into rocks which further enable weathering. On the other hand plant or grass cover on soils prevent easy denudation or transportation of soil by wind or water.
