What is reflex action? Explain the role of brain in reflex action?

Answer» Reflex action is the sudden and immediate response by our body. There is no important role of brain in reflex action it only receives the message send by sensory neurons and does not play any function.

The simplest form of response in human body is called reflex action
Reflex action are those actions which happens suddenly without knowing ex- if the dirt come inside our eyes our eyes suddenly close the role of brain in reflex action is thatThe sensory nerves that detect the heat are connected to the nerves that move the muscles of the hand. Such a connection of detecting the signal from the nerves and responding to it quickly is known as reflex arc. Reflex arcs are formed in the spinal cord and the information reaches the brain and brain responses to it.
