What is perilstaltic movement. How it helps indigestion

Answer»

Peristalsis can be defined as muscular CONTRACTIONS that take place in the DIGESTIVE TRACT. These contractions are also very common in organs that link the kidney to the bladder. This is an involuntary PROCESS, and it is very important.

Through peristalsis:

Food is moved through the digestive system.Urine is passed from the kidney to the bladder.Bile is passed from the gallbladder to the duodenum. This is a completely NORMAL process and can at times be felt in the stomach during gas movement. This article will explain in detail the peristalsis in terms of digestive process.
