It is COMPOSED of forty-five to fifty PERCENT carbon, along with oxygen, HYDROGEN, nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur. It BINDS soil particles into aggregates and improves the water holding capacity of soil. It increases the fertility of the soil. |
