What is intervisibility? What is its advantage? How can we assess the intervisibility between two places? |
|
Answer» In topographical map interpretation, if any two places are mutually visible, it is called intervisibility. Advantage Intervisibility assessment is applied for erecting electric posts, mobile towers, wireless transmission towers, etc. For assessing the intervisibility, the shape of the terrain must be inferred from the contour lines. From the shape of the terrain, if two places are mutually visible, we can establish that these places are intervisible. |
