Answer» Meaning of Development: 1. Growth plus change is called development. 2. All the persons may not have the same notion of development or progress. 3. Each one of them seeks different things. Examples: i) A girl expects as much freedom and opportunity as her brother and that he also shares in the household work. ii) To get more electricity, industrialists, may want more dams. But this may submerge the land and disrupt the lives of people who are displaced as the tribals. |
