Deamination mainly takes place in the liver cells. Extra Information :- Deamination is referred to as the removal of surplus of proteins and amino acids. Deamination is also described as the removal of amino group from the CARBOXYL group. Deamination leads to the formation of ammonia and KETO acid. The process of deamination is further classified into two types, namely- "OXIDATIVE deamination" and "Hydrolytic deamination".
