What is condensation, vaporization, solidification?

Answer»

Condenstation means small drops of liquid that are formed when warm air touches a cold surface or the process of changing a gas to a liquid.

Vaporization (or vaporisation) of an element or COMPOUND is a PHASE TRANSITION from the liquid phase to vapor. There are two types of vaporization: evaporation and boiling. Evaporation is a surface phenomenon, whereas boiling is a bulk phenomenon.

Solidification, also known as freezing, is a phase CHANGE of matter that RESULTS in the production of a solid. Generally, this occurs when the temperature of a liquid is lowered below its freezing point.
