What is a resource? Give two examples. |

Answer» Everything available in environment , which has some value ,can satisfy our needs provoded it is technologically accessible, economically feasibleand culturally acceptable is called a resource . Eg. Coal , water , fish , petroleum etc. The materials which are available in our environment which areused for the satisfaction of our needs which are technologically accessible, economically feasible, etc are called resources....... Eg:coal, petroleum, water, forests, Fossil fuels, etc. The things which are given by our environment and we utilise those things to fulfill our needs is known as resources. Everything available in our environment which can be used to satisfy our needs, provided, it is technologically accessible, economically . feasible and culturally acceptable can be termed as\xa0Resource.\xa0Examples, coal, water, air, minerals, etc. |
