Jute is used for making ropes, gunny sacks, mattresses, carpets, etc. Sanai (Crotolaria juncea): Sanai too is a coarse fibre and comes from the stem of plant. Sanai is used for making ropes, gunny sacks, etc. Coconut (Cocos mucifera): Fibre from cocondt plant is called coir. Coir is used for making ropes and mattresses.
