Answer» Democracy is Government of the people, for the people and by the people. In a democracy, general elections are held every five years in which people cast a vote to elect their leaders. In a democracy, supreme power is vested in the people and is exercised by them or by their elected leaders. These leaders form the government. In a democracy, the government has to give clarifications and provide reasons for the decisions taken. |
