Answer» Vegitative propagation come under asexual reproduction.It is of two types: a) natural and b) artificial vegetative propagation Natural vegetative propagation consists of: - roots like in sweet potato - underground stems like in mint,ginger,onions etc - creeping stems like in grasses -leaves like in bryophyllum Artificial vegetative propagation consists of: - layering like in jasmine - grafting: In this method PARTS of two plant are joined in such a way that they grow as a one plant in the rooted portion of other plant.Like as we take two stems of mango i.e.root one is high yielding and other is just stem we JOIN both of then properly to get high yielding plant.
