What are the three main ways in which a fire can be controlled or put out? |

Answer» A fire can be controlled or put out by removing one of the three things that are required to cause it. (i) Take away the fuel. If the fire has no fuel to feed on, no burning can take place. (ii) Prevent oxygen from reaching the fire. It will instantly stop. (iii) Bring down the temperature of the fuel below 'flash point'. |
