1.	What are the problems in Thar Desert?
Answer» The greatest problem in Thar Desert is that of water scarcity due to scanty rainfall. Besides, very high temperatures, drought makes life very difficult. Groundwater also is found at greater depths and is mostly saline. Sources of livelihood are limited. Due to difficulty in laying roads/rail tracks, transportation and industries are few.
