what are the effects of rising carbon dioxide levels in to atmosphere on the human biology and ecosystem we live in |
|
Answer» Answer: The effects of rising carbon dioxide level are: I) In the atmosphere- Rise carbon dioxide level causes more and more heat energy of the sun to be trapped on the earth surface, as carbon dioxide contributes to greenhouse effect, this causes excessive heating of the earth surface, which is called global warming. II) Human biology- Human beings will be AFFECTED in 2 ways. Firstly, global warming will take a toll on the LIVES of humans, secondly, increase in carbon dioxide level in human body will lead to death by asphyxiation. III) On ecosystem- All the components of the ecosystem will be severely affected by global warming caused due to increase in level of carbon dioxide, where as increase in carbon dioxide concentration in the body of ANIMALS will lead to death by asphyxiation. However plants will be benefited because they can produce more food by photosynthesis by UTILIZING this excess carbon dioxide.
