What are the differences between autotrophic nutrition and heterotrophic nutrition? |

Therefore, autotrophic nutrition refers to the process of nourishing, namely photosynthesis, that organisms adopt for growth and maintenance.$\longrightarrow$ The raw materials required for preparation of food are CO, and H₂O.$\longrightarrow$ Chlorophyll and SUNLIGHT are essential for photosynthesis and thus nutrition to occur.★ Heterotrophic Nutrition$\longrightarrow$ The organisms which cannot make their own food and depend directly or indirectly on autotrophs for their survival are called heterotrophs, eg, ANIMALS and fungi.
