Answer» Tati Causes of myopia:-. 1. Focal length of the lens decrease. 2. Eye ball\'s size increase. Causes of hypermetropia :-. 1. Focal length of the lens increase. 2. Eyeball\'s size decrease. Causes of myopia: Myopia is caused:—due to the elongation of the eyeball.—due to decrease in the focal length of the eye lens. Myopia can be corrected by using a concave lens of suitable focal length in the spectacles of such a person.Causes of hypermetropia:-Low converging power of eye lens because of weak action of ciliary muscles.Abnormal shape of the cornea. |
