Answer» Self-help\xa0group is a village-based financial intermediary\xa0committee usually composed of 10–200 local women or men.Benifits of SHG\'s are:Members also make small regular savings contributions over a few months until there is enough money in the group to begin lending.Funds may then be lent back to the members or to others in the village for any purpose.In India, many SHGs are \'linked\' to banks for the delivery of micro-credit. SHGs are self help groups. Basically these the group of 15 to 20 members who give loans through their own savings............... Benefits of SHGs are as follows ---------------->. • SHGs provide loans in rural areas without any documentation.• they don\'t collect any collateral ( a guarantee until the loan is repayed like house,car ). • they provide loans specially to women • they help in development as they help people to start new business.• if they work regularly for 2 or 3 years then new banks provide them fund. |
