* Agro based industries :- Industries that have agricultural produce as raw materials are known as agro based industries.

Water Supply.

Energy.

Transport.

* Large scale industries :- These industries require large infrastructure and large NUMBER of workers. These industries play a large role in INDUSTRIALIZATION.

* Small scale industries :- These industries are small industries managed mostly by private individuals.

4. Rapid industrialization provides support and strength to our agricultural base. Industries produce goods equipment required for the defense of the country.
