What about current is a current scalar or vector because current referent as scalar but it has magnitude and direction

Answer»

quantity is one which has MAGNITUDE but no direction. A vectorquantity is one which has bothmagnitude and direction. Thedirection of current is OPPOSITE to the FLOW of electrons. ELECTRIC current hasboth magnitude and direction so ideally it 'should' be a VECTOR.
