An E-book

An e-book is a book in electronic format. It is downloaded to a computer and is read on the screen. It has numbered pages, table of contents, pictures and graphics, exactly like a printed book.

You can purchase and download an ebook, even if you are on a vacation if you have a laptop and wireless internet connection.

In this way, e-book is rapidly taking place of traditional books.

एक ई-बुक इलेक्ट्रानिक स्वरूप में होती है। इसे एक कम्प्यूटर पर डाउनलोड किया जाता है तथा स्क्रीन पर पढ़ा जाता है। इसमें नम्बर पड़े हुए पेज, सूची की तालिका, तस्वीरें तथा ग्राफिक्स होते हैं, बिल्कुल वैसे ही जैसे कि एक छपी हुई पुस्तक में होते हैं।
