therefore it can be WRITTEN as

So the REQUIRED ratio is

3:5

Now using section formula for X coordinate

x = \frac{(1 \times 5) + (4 \times 3)}{5 + 3} \\ x = \frac{5 + 12}{8} \\ x = \frac{17}{8}
