Answer» Government of India has announced pro-poor initiatives under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY). The move by GoI comes as an economic response to nationwide lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As per the scheme, free Liquefied petroleum gas Refills will be provided to Ujjwala beneficiaries over the period of 3 months, that is, from April-June 2020. Amid lockdown 85 lakh PMUY beneficiaries received LPG cylinder in April.
