Under what conditions is the magnitude of the aaverage velocity of a particle moving in on be dimension smaller than the average speed over same time interval ?

Answer»

Solution :If the particle moves along a LINE with out changing the DIRECTION th emagnitude of average VELOCITY and average speed are the same . When change in the direction occures displacement would be SMALLER than the distance, hence average velocity would be smaller than the average speed .
