x - 2 = 3y - 6
x - 3y = -4 – equation 1

2x + 4 = 5y + 10
2x - 5y = 6 – equation 2

equation 1 × 2, 2x -6Y = -8 –equation 3
equation 3 - 2 , -y = -14
y = 14

Put y=14 in equation 1
x - 42 = -4
x = 38.

Rohan is 38 and his son is 14.
