SOLUTION :

Let ONE number be 1X

another number be 3x

According to the question :

if 5 is added to both numbers the RATIO becomes 1:2

so, \bf \frac{1x + 5}{3x + 5} = \frac{1}{2}\\\\=> 2(1x + 5) = 1(3x + 5)\\\\=> 2x + 10 = 3x + 5 \\\\=> 2x - 3x = 5 - 10 \\\\ =>- x = -5 \\\\=> x= 5

one number = 1x = 1 × 5 = 5

another number = 3x = 3 × 5 = 15

Hence,

TWO numbers are 5 and 15
