Two concave mirrors are kept in a straight line as shown in fig. Mirror A forms 2 times enlarged real image of an object kept in front of it on the same straight line. The focal length of mirror A is given as 10cm. i. Using sign conventions calculate the object position and image position in the case of mirror A ii. Mirror B forms a 1/4times diminished real image of the same object. Find the object position, image position and the focal length in this case. iii. Draw the ray diagrams in both the cases. |
