Two bulbs A and B are connected to a 220V main supply. The maximum current that can flow through A and B is 0.5A and 1.2A respectively. The effective resistance of two bulbs in series and in parallel is 280Ω and 60Ω respectively. Which of the two bulbs will fuse when connected in series. What happens when they are connected in parallel . |

Answer» current FLOWING when connected to series is v=IRI=v/RI=220/280I=0.7Atherefore the blub A having minimum current capacity 0.5A will fusethen in paralle l=220/60=3.5Aboth the bulb will fuse when connected in parallel because the current RANGE is more then their current capacity that is 0.5 and 1.2 Ahope so helpful.good QUESTION.... |
