Trigonometry question I need answer urgently

Answer»

Hey FRIEND
Here is your answer

let theta=¢
x= acos¢
a/x= 1/cos¢
a/x= sec¢ ------(i)

y= bcot¢
b/y =1/cot¢
b/y = tan -------(ii)

squaring EQ i and ii and SUBTRACTING eq ii from eq i , we GET
a^2/x^2 - b^2/y^2= sec^2¢ - tan^2¢
a^2/x^2 - b^2/y^2= 1

Proved
