1.

The value of sin A and cos A is always less than 1.why?

Answer»

The value of sin A and cos A are actually the ratio of sides of a triangle..
Sin A= Opp/HYPOTENUSE
Cos A= ADJACENT / Hypotenuse
According to PYTHAGORAS Theorem, The hypotenuse is greater than the other sides.. So since the hypotenuse is greater.. The denominator is always greater.. So the FRACTION remains proper fraction and we get a value less than 1..
HOPE this helps you out.. :)
