Let the sides be X say

Then, the ratio becomes to 3x:2x

As per problem,

2(3x+2x) = 20cm
2(5x) = 20cm
10x = 20cm
x = 20cm/10
x = 2 cm

therefore, the value of x is 2cm

The adjacent sides,

3x = 3×2cm = 6cm
2x = 2×2cm = 4cm

Therefore, the adjacent sides are 6cm & 4cm
