Solution :

  • Length of hypotenuse = 65cm
  • Measure of perpendicular = 33cm

By using Pythagoras theorem :

Hypotenuse ² = base² + perpendicular ²

⟶ 65² = b² + 33²

⟶ 4225 = 1089 + b²

⟶ b² = 4225 - 1089

⟶ b² = 3136

B = √3136

⟶ b = 56cm
