therefore HCF is 14x.
ATQ the SUM of LCM and HCF
=x+14x=600
15x= 600
x= 40
therefore LCM =560
Now let the other number is y and the GIVEN number is 280.
We know that,
PRODUCT of the numbers = LCM ×HCF
y × 280= 560 × 40
y = (560 × 40) ÷ 280
y = 2 × 40
y = 80
so the other number is 80.
