Answer» Hi!!! here's ur answer... given the LENGTH and BREADTH of the rectangular floor is 7cm and 4cm. area of the rectangular floor = l × b = 7 × 4 = 28m² length and breadth of the rectangular tiles is 60cm = 0.6m and 50cm = 0.5m area of the rectangular tile = l × b = 0.6 × 0.5 = 0.3m² 1. HENCE the number of tiles required to cover the floor = 28/0.3 = 93.3333... hence, 93 tiles are required (approx.) ATQ, the COST of 1 dozen (12) tiles is rs 300 therefore cost of one tile = 300/12 = rs 25 hence, total cost = 25 × 93 = rs 2325 hope this HELPS..!!
