Given T27 - T23 = 64

=> {a + (27 - 1)d} - {a + (23 - 1)d} = 64    {since Tn = a + (N - 1)d}

=> (a + 26D) - (a + 22d) = 64

=>  a + 26d - a - 22d = 64

=> 4d = 64

=> d = 64/4

=> d = 16
