The CONCENTRATION of P₄ will be more than the concentration of Cl₂

  • From the reaction P₄ (S) + 6Cl₂ (g) ⇔ 4PCl₃ (g)  it is clear that 1 mole of P₄ reacts with 6 moles of Cl₂
  • If both the REACTANTS were taken in equal AMOUNTS i.e, 1 mole in a vessel then for attaining EQUILIBRIUM 6 moles of  Cl₂ gets consumed
