Answer» Answer- If 36 APPLES are filled in a box, then 18 boxes will be needed. Solution- The boxes are to be filled with apples in a heap. If 24 apples are put in a box then 27 boxes are needed. Then TOTAL number of apples is, = Total number of boxes × Number of apples in a SINGLE box = 27 × 24 = 648 As the number of apples remains same and 36 apples are to be filled in a single box, Then total number of boxes will be needed, = Total number of apples / Number of apples in a single box = 648 / 36 = 18 Therefore, 18 boxes will be needed. |
