It is given that.Area of parallelogram ABCD

is 36 sq cm

AB = 4.2 cm

Let height of parallogram ABEF = h cm

area of parallelogram ABEF = area of

parallelogram ABCD

[ SINCE area of parallelograms have same base

AB LIE between same parallel lines DE and

AB are equal ]

= base × height

= AB × h

36 = 4.2 × h

h = 36/4.2

h = 8.57 cm
