1.

the angle B of a triangle ABC is thrice the difference of the other two angles also the ratio of the angle A to the angle c is 5:7. find the angle

Answer»

A = 50°
B = 60°
C = 70°
The explanation is :-
A:C = 5:7
therefore, A = 5x, C = 7X
Now, B = 3(DIFFERENCE of A and C)
the difference of A and C is 7x - 5x
so, B = 3(7x - 5x)
B = 3 × 2x
B = 6x
A = 5x, B = 6x, C = 7x
According to ANGLE sum property, A+B+C=180°
5x+6x+7x=180°
18x=180°
x=10°
A=50°,B=60°,C=70°
