smaller side as base=8CM
distance (HEIGHT) between the longer
side =4cm
=15×4=60
area of parallelogram =
60cm {}^{2}
area of parallelogram =base(8cm) ×height
60=8×height

height=60/8=15/2=7.5cm, HENCE the distance between the shorter side is 7.5 cm
