(-tan(theta)^2 %2B 1)/(cot(theta)^2 - 1)=tan(theta)^2

Answer»

Let theta = x

LHS:1 - tan^2 x/cot^2 x - 1

= (1 - sin^2 x/cos^2 x) / ( cos^2 x/sin^2 x - 1)

= (cos^2 x - sin^2 x)/cos^2 x / (cos^2 x - sin^2 x)/sin^2 x

= sin^2 x/cos^2 x

= tan^2 x

= RHS

Hence proved

I don't know sorry.but plz thanks me
