1.

t. Show that 15" cannot end with the digit zero for any natural number n.

Answer»

15ⁿ = (3×5)ⁿ = 3ⁿ × 5ⁿ

We know that a number will end with zero if and only if it has 5 and 2 has prime factors i.e 2 × 5 = 10 , which will eventually makes a number to end with 0.

In 15ⁿ , factor 2 is not present therefore 15ⁿ can not end with 0
