SECOND fraction will be x+1.
So,
x+x+1=5/8
2x+1=5/8
2x=5/8-1
2x=-3/8
x=-3/8*1/2
x=-3/16
x+1=13/16


So,
First fraction is -3/16 and second fraction is 13/16
