1.

Study the adjoining circuit and find the reading of ammeter

Answer»

Hey!!!

__________

We have

R1 = 4 ohm
R2 = 2 ohm
R3 = 2 ohm
V = 10V

Let R be the EQUIVALENT RESISTANCE of the circuit

Here R2 and R3 are in parallel

=> 1/Rp = 1/R2 + 1/R3

=> 1/Rp = 1/2 + 1/2

=> Rp = 1 ohm

Thus R = R1 + Rp

=> R = 1 + 4

=> R = 5 ohm

Again By Ohm's Law

=> V = I x R

Thus I = V/R

=> I = 10/5

=> I = 2A

Thus the AMMETER reading will be 2A

____________

Note : Ammeter is connected in series not in parallel

Hope this helps ✌️
