Take a full hot backup of Primary database
CREATE
standby
CONTROL
file
Transfer full backup, init.ora, standby control file to standby node.
MODIFY
init.ora file on standby node.
Restore database
RECOVER
Standby database(Alternatively, RMAN DUPLICATE DATABASE FOR STANDBY DO RECOVERY can be also used)
Setup FAL_CLIENT and FAL_SERVER parameters on both sides
PUT
Standby database in Managed Recover mode
