Answer» HI.. The most important reason to store POLLEN grains to prevent plants from EXTINCTION... Pollens are also stored inorder to latter cross and produce hybrids and maintain PURE line...... Pollens are syored by the method of cryopreservation..in LIQUID nitrogen. Hope this helps u!! |
