(b) Generally the resistance of Voltmeter is higher than the resistances which we will use.As they are in parallel the VOLTAGE ACROSS them is equal. Iv=V÷Rv
As Rv is large the value of V÷Rv is taken to be zero. So the value of current is zero and the electric energy used by this is zero. |
