Answer» The PROBLEM started about a month ago. The XP SCREEN saver simply won't COME on. I've tried different ones, set to different times, but no use. The problem seems to be intermittent; I reboot my computer and the problem corrects itself, but then recurs after awhile. I usually leave the machine on all day and shut down at night, and it seems to be after the machine has been on awhile that the screen saver disables. I've run Spyware and Virus checks, and they all come up negative.Are you having problems with the power saving options or is this just isolated to the screensaver? One possibility, if you have a wireless mouse, false signals could interrupt the screensaver timer. Also check to see if OUTLOOK or Outlook Express is automatically CHECKING for incoming mail which could disrupt the screensaver. Hope this helps.
